ELIoT demonstrates optical wireless communication (Light Fidelity – #LiFi) in different scenarios. In this video the seamless integration of LiFi into a 5G network is shown. The scenario targets an industrial environment, where LiFi hot spots will be built around machines and 5G covers the whole shop floor. This enables high-speed data transmission close to the machines with LiFi, e.g. for videos and monitoring purposes, and at the same time, high mobility and flexibility through the radio network.
